Hello, I am new to this list. Am seeking information on the families of Pleasant Lafayette Montgomery and his father Hiram M. Montgomery. Pleasant was on the 1900 census. Hiram died in April of 1900, just two months prior to the census. Hiram has land transactions recorded in Brown Co. I do not know what township or district they lived in. They were in Palo Pinto and possibly, Parker Counties before moving to Brown Co. I have traced them to TN as early as 1849. Would appreciate any information, or hearing from any descendants.
