The Brownwood bulletin newspapers are on microfilm. I think some of the Brownwood Banner papers are on microfilm as well. There is the McInnis Funeral home records, death records at the courthouse, and the Greenleaf and Eastlawn Cemetery inscriptions. However if you think Mr. Whitley died in or around Zephyr you might want to check out Mills County Death Records. Mills county has a web site but I dont know the address. Patsy in Brownwood
