    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Whitley, Farquhar Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/DhB.2ACE/750 Message Board Post: I am looking for the grave site or any other information on J. K. Whitley, aka James K. Polk Whitley. According to his Confederate Pension information, he was born March 14, 1803 in Georgia and died September 3, 1913, Brown County, TX. According to the records, his place of residence at the time of his death was Rural Rte 1, Zephyr, TX. His wife, who survived him, was Martha Adella Farquhar Whitley. She died 17 years later in Robertson County and is buried there, but since that is such a long distance from Brown County, I am guessing J. K. Whitley (my husband's great grandfather) is buried near Zephyr. Thanks for any help. Dona Dona Vaughn

    3. Dona, I saw your message and decided to look in my Brown County Cemetery Transcription book. I did not find any Whitley in Zepher Cemetery. I did find one in Bangs, a Addie Mae. That was the only one listed in the book. If I can be of further help, let me know. I have one of the Funeral Homes and will look in it for you also. Maybe that might give a clue.
