Surnames: Black, Bailey, McCracken Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/DhB.2ACE/228.1.1 Message Board Post: Would your Bailey family have included an Ada Francis Bailey (1854-1920) who was widowed by a Sikes and married 2nd Joseph A. Black (1848-1915) in 1878. They lived around Rising Star. Ada had applied for and recieved a widows pension as the widow of a Confederate soldier It said that she was born in Coweta Co., Ga. and had been in Tx since 1858. She and her husband spent their last 4years together in Corpus Christi, Tx. They are both buried there. Thank you, Jean
