Brown, Jr. and Mattie May Payne-Brown. My mother, Anna Josephine Mary McAlpine-Bissonnette b. 3/16/1924 is his daughter and first child by Mary Josephine Wadsworth b. 2/13/1903 in Sapulpa, Creek County, Oklahoma. In a letter to my mother dated Jan. 26, 1973 he was living in Mathis, Texas and was about age 64 and in the VA Hospital in Houston, Texas waiting for kidney transplants and collecting his "Captain's Pension," however he neglected to tell my mother what branch of the Service he had been in. Samuel Wayne Brown's Children are: 1. Anna Josephine Mary McAlpine-Bissonnette born 3/16/1924 and just turned 80. 2. Wayne Brown born March 8, 1950 Died ? 3. Mary Alice Brown born in 1954 Died ? 4. Penny Sue Brown born 1956 Died ? 5. Patricia Jean Brown born 1961 Died ? In his 1973 letter he said his son Wayne Brown was a roustabout mechanic on the oil rigs off the coast of Texas. My grandfather never mentioned ever having a wife. When Samuel Wayne Brown fathered my mother he was age 14 yrs. 6 mos. & 1 day when mom was born and my grandmother, Mary Wadsworth was age 21 yrs. 1 mo. & 3 days and died on April 20, 1924 from Septicemia poisoning in childbirth at 10:40 a.m. I have all the Brown Family History except my mother's father, Samuel Wayne Bwown.
