They don't have a web site for the school records, but they provide an address and phone number to call to request information and school records for Indian Girls in a person's family that attended their school in the 1900's. I have already sent by snailmail for the records of my grandmother, Mary Wadsworth and great grand aunt's daughter, Nora Nichols who attended the school around 1912. I hope this information is of use for anyone looking for the Indian School Records. Annmarie BlondiNativeAme3@Netscape.net

Just a reminder that the annual Jones/Boyd Family Reunion will be next Sunday, August 8, 2004. Many years ago the Jones's and Boyd's were neighbors in Brown County and began having family reunions and this tradition has continued for well over 60 years on the second Sunday in August. It will be held at the 3-M activity building located on US Highway 377. Folks usually begin arriving around 9:30 a.m. or so with their covered dishes for the noon meal. There are a lot of good cooks in this group!

Beshears, had been twice married. I also have copy of the 1910 listing Laura Ann Beshears. Even though she listed herself as married, I believe that she in fact was divorced at that time. Most likely the divorce was in Mills County, or Hamilton County, but I have no way to check these records. Or the divorce might have even been in Arkansas,,,,,since their youngest child was born in 1895 in Arkansas and William C. Beshears married Clara Mason in Hamilton County, Texas in 1897. Any help you can give me along those lines would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Gloria

Cousins say that he divorced my ggrandmother, Laura Ann Beshears, and married another woman, ( I do not have her name either.) and is buried in Bangs. Perhaps if someone could do a divorce look up for me, either in Mills or Brown County, and a marriage look up after the date of the divorce, we would be able to place him at a later date in a different place. Frances, I really appreciate your taking the time to do the look up in the Bangs cemetery. And yes, it could very well be that he does not have a stone. Gloria McCary
