Sidney Andrew Joiner is the son of Wesley Dow and Mary Amanda (Rodgers) Joiner. "Dow" was the son of Seaborn J. Mathis and Elizabeth (Moore) Joiner. SJM was the son of James and Mary (Walker) Joiner. Mary Amanda Rodgers was the daughter of John Risdon and Martha (Cadenhead) Joiner. John Risdon Rodgers was the son of Bartley Martin and Rachel (Ryan) Rodgers. Martha Cadenhead was the daughter of Ivy John and Nancy (Pugh/Pew) Cadenhead. Ivy was the son of James and Mary Ann Cadenhead. Nancy was the daugher of Abel Pugh who was the son of William W. Pugh. Dow's brother Seborn Simon was my great grandfather. Mary's sister was my great great grandmother, Nancy Elizabeth Rodgers. So, Dow's brother married Mary's niece. I have a picture of Dow and Mary. It's just a snapshot. I would love to have copies of any pictures that you might have.

Believe this to be the same W.A. and Virginia that married Sept. 30, 1877 in Henderson Co., Tx. and appeared on the 1880 census there, then the 1900 census of Bell Co., Tx., then then 1910 Brown Co., Tx. census. Known children are 1. W.S. b. abt. 1878 probably Henderson Co., 2. Dora b. Aug. 1880, 3. Howard b. Feb. 1886, 4. Halley b. Aug. 1888, 5. Jessie b. July 1891 and 6. Sterling b. Sept. 1896. I surley could use 2 obits for husband & wife, buried in Blanket Cemetery. CAMPBELL, Horace d. 10 Aug. 1963, place died unknown CAMPBELL, Mary Odessa d. 20 Nov. 1962, place died unknown dates of death are from thier tombstone. Odessa nee Smedley, 1st married to Prentis Whitehead, 2nd to Horace Campbell. They are not listed in the SSDI. It is not known at this time if Odessa had any children with Horace Campbell. Relationship: She is my great aunt. This is the only thing I need to make my Smedley Family genealogy complete. I am attempting to establish the names of her children. However, there is also no need for an "admin" classification. The "Links & Announcements" (link above at the right end of the row which BEGINS with "List Messages | Post New Message") is where you'll find the e-mail address for the volunteer board administrator. The content of each "Links & Announcements" page is determined by the individual board administrator. At the very least, you'll find their e-mail address. As far as board policies, at the bottom of every board page, just above the copyright information, are links to the Rules, FAQ and Help. However, those have not been updated since 2001. More guidelines, tips, etc. can be found in the RootsWeb Review archives. If anyone is interested in a list of those links, please e-mail me **privately**. Anji
