    1. [TXBROWN] Re: Roberts (Baugh) Cemetery- Clements Names?
    2. I am looking for Joe Clements Family. I Have no idea who his parents were. I know that he and another young man walked to Mississippi. Joe stayed in Ms. Married Mary Cora Rankin from Calhoun County. The other man went on to Ala. or Florida, not sure. This man could have possibly have been a brother or cousin. This probably took place around 1910-1915. This is not much to go on, but all I have. Any help I can get would be appreciated. Joe is my grandfather. he died in Flordia 1954 I believe. Thanks.

    2. My grandmother was Elsie Ann Katherine (Kate) Teague. She was born in 1875 in AR but moved to TX as a young girl. She married my grandfather, Samuel Nathaniel (Nat) Gotcher. Her father was Silas Teague, son of Moses Teague. I have her ancestry back to Edward Teague. I have all the skinny on her family except what happened to her mother Sarah (she died about 1885) and what happened to Silas. I know he was killed by his stepson. Also Silas had a sister, Lavinia (Lovina) Teague who married George H. Cook. They moved to TX. If you think you are related to my Teagues, I can send you more information. By the way, I was born in Brownwood, TX. Billie Sutton Jefferies Albuquerque, NM

    3. I have a "Teague" family connection in Brown Co., from the 1800's. I have a William Henry Teague, Jr. born in 1849..no other information. I have his son, Alford Marion Teague, born Feb 26, 1871. The Alfred Marion Teague was married to Mary Ellen Palmer, my great grandmother's sister. 2. Becky York
    3. Hi list. Would anyone know of a list or records (and where I could obtain them) for Brown Co., licensed (if they were licensed then) barbers and/or barber shop owners up until about 1915? I'm searching for records/info on my grgrandfather, Robert K. LEE b. 1885 in Brown Co.(his mother COLEY/COLLEY), married Leona TUNSTALL (also b. in 1885 TX - her mother COUCH). One of his sisters also married a COUCH and the other 2 married SMART's. Robert, wife and kids moved to Kern Co., CA in 1915. The other siblings seemed to have stayed in TX. Thanks for any help. 1. Re: [TXBROWN] Where is May, Texas!!!
    2. Patsy Johson
    3. May, Texas is about seventeen (17) miles north of Brownwood on Hiway 183. If you are traveling east/west on Interstate 20, take 183 south where they two intersect and it about 30 miles south of Cisco on 183. It is still an active town with a post office, high school, and even a volunteer fire dept. and several churches. It is still on the map. Good night and good searching,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Patsy in Brownwood,,,will help anyone looking for ancestors in the county. E-mail me at [email protected]
