Here's the information I have on David & Elizabeth from 1860 & 1870: 1860 Sebastian Co, AR Breckenridge P. O., Washburn Township Page 125 (image 125 of 217 @ Ancestry.com's online census images; 1079 preprinted on top right of page) Enumerated 7 Aug 1860 883/855: David Ramsey 50 M Farmer $1200/$1600 NC [1810] Lizabeth 30 F TN [1830] Sily 15 TN [1845; have been told this is Ceiley b 22 Nov 1847] Betsy 12 AR [1848] David 8 M AR [1852] Martha 4 F AR [1856] Melifsa 1 F AR [1859] 1870 Scott Co, AR Black Jack P. O., Tumbleston Township Page 13 (Image 13 of 28 @ Ancestry.com's online census images; preprinted 652 on top right of page) Enumerated 8 Aug 1870 92/92: Ramsey, David 62 M W Retired farmer --/$3400 NC [1808] Elisabeth 50 F W keeping house TN cannot read/write [1820] David 16 M W at school AR [1854] Martha 13 F W at home AR can't write [1857] Millie 9 F W AR [1861] So, the family you found in Montague in 1900 would be a widowed Elizabeth with her daughter, Millie, who married Sam Kennington. I found Samuel & Millie Ramsey Kennington in Precinct 3, 5 & 8, Clay Co, TX page 490D in 1880 with their daughter Lula M aged 9 mos. (at the LDS 1880 census site). They're living next door to her sister, Martha Jane Ramsey Hicks, and her husband, William F Hicks, with daughter R aged 3 and son John 8 mos. Hoping to find Elizabeth Ramsey on the 1880 census. Thanks so very much for your help. Now I'm definitely getting confirmation of the information my daughter provided. After all, without confirmation, it's just another pretty story!
