Myrtle was born in 1895. In 1913 she married John B. Steward in Bowie County. She died in 1964 and is buried with the Steward family at Old Salem. If this Myrtle Brown is the same as the one in the censuses...1900 and 1910...She had brothers and sisters. The father listed is James A. Brown...mother Nipsy...Brown's from Tennessee...but after 1910 I find no other Brown family in the area. I wonder if they moved...or if anyone has info on these browns...James's father may be Randolph Brown, mother Arabella...Would love to find where they are buried if in the area...Thanks, Jerri in Dekalb 1910 James A.
