My mother and he separated before I was born, so I know practically nothing. His name was Charles Ray Taylor and came from Texarkana, Bowie County, TX. He was stationed in the NAVY in San Diego on a Submarine, when he and my mother were together. I believe he retired from the Navy and then worked around Texarkana, possibly in the Hospital there. He married several times and has another son by the name of Charles Taylor as well as myself, and also has twins I think. In my research I have found one Charles Taylor from Texarkana, that was born Feb. 08.1923, whose father was Henry L.Taylor and mother was Emma Ollie King. They had several other sons, one who may be a John Taylor and I believe at least 1 daughter. Checking Rootsweb SSDI records I believe this Charles Taylor died June 12, 1998. If in fact, this person is my father, I would like to have these facts validated. I am doing genealogy research for my family's information, but I would like to meet any step relatives if they want to meet with me. If not I will settle for the information.
