It is with great sadness I report the death of our uncle, Harvey Joy Autrey, of Wake Village, born April 10, 1918 in Maud, Bowie County, Texas. He died at home this past Saturday. Services were held today at 10 a.m. Chapelwood funeral Home Chapel, he was laid to rest in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. Harvey was married to Maxine Jones in 1947, he had two children, Roy and Kathy and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. as well as other relatives. Harvey's father was Cisero "Pink" Autrey, son of Robert Martin Autrey and Elizabeth Kemp, son of Absalom and Elizabeth (Norris) Autrey.
