Hello, it's good to see this site! I hope I can be of some help to others as it is frustrating sometimes doing your research. My g-grandfather, William Titus Bellieu, supposedly ran a burlesque theatre down- town. My aunt can't remember what it was called. Her aunt told her that the old scamp was set to run away one night with one of the showgirls but he was robbed and the plans changed! I'd be willing to bet if the story's true his wife Mattie ar- ranged the theft. Has anyone knowledge of the theatre or the Bellieu family?
