Bowie County Citizens Tribune/Dekalb News July 16, 2000, Page 2 Use with permission The descendants of Frank and Marry HUBBARD had a reunion Saturday, June 10 at the New Boston Community Center. Fifty-five relatives were present. This was the first reunion for the HUBBARD family to be held in New Boston. Their last reunion was held in 1971 in Brownwood, Texas. Present for this year's reunion were direct descendants of four children of Francis E. HUBBARD. 1. Joseph HUBBARD's line was represented by descendants of Lusher and Lillie Hubbard: Richard Hubbard, Bryon, Tana, and Justin Hubbard, Casey and Brett Brummitt. 2. Nettie Trula HUBBARD Graham's line was represented by descendants of Annie GRAHAM and Elmer Spear: Joe and Lila Spear, Vernon and Lonnie Creed, Drucilla Ford, Glen and Linda Ford, Pauline Rumbo, Oleane Hoffman, Judy Hoffman, John, Amanda, Shaelynne and Olivia Hoffman, Lillian and Deveri Walker and Kay Ridley. 3. Francis Edna HUBBARD McGee was represented by Zoa May MCGEE, Rinnert, Wilma Dean Looney, Alice Ann, Thomas Weston, Blair Elizabeth, and Leigh Ashley Brown, Lisa, Rick, Joshua Thomas, Rachel Elizabeth, and Sarah Catherine Wilson, Leslie Looney, Ronald and Elaine Rinnert, Esther McGee, Lesley Jean Sandlin, Phyllis McGee, and Janie McGee. 4. Chloe Bell HUBBARD Hays was represented by Eva M. Phillips, Jean and Doyle Young, Burch and Lita Young, Jerri and Lavon Means, Betty Hudson, Mary Hays Koenig, Roger and Debbie Hays, Dolores Hobbs and Fiance Jim Holifield, Steve and Sharon Hays and Kara Edwards and Angela Hays. Attending as Special Guest Speaker was Dr. Ellis McGee and wife, LuErin. Dr. McGee's sister, Lillie MCGEE, married Lusher HUBBARD who was the son of Joseph HUBBARD. The two oldest HUBBARD descendants were Zoe May Rinnert, age 91, and Eva Phillips, age 92. The were presented corsages. Delicious food was catered by Shirley's Restaurant of New Boston.
