My husband's grandfather, Parker Thomas Burns, is supposed to have died in August of 1911in Dekalb. He is supposed to be buried in Delalb. I believe the family story says he is in the Woodmen's Cemetery. The family was poor and there may be no marker. One of the problems in searching for information on this amily is that Parker died when all the children were very young. His wife, Melissa, died near Sherman only two years later and the children were parceled out to various families and to the orphanage in Waco.
