Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/GkB.2ACI/898 Message Board Post: Funeral homes listed in 1922 Directory Funeral Directors Bowden, B. D. & Co. 1613-15 Texas AVe. Daniels, W. T. & Co. 828 Laurel John J. Jones Mgr. East Undertaking Co. Corner Sixth and Olive Reverra-Fewell Undertaking Co. 316 Main Richardson Understaking Parlors, 418 W. Elm. Reverra-Fewell Funeral home is now Texarkana Funeral home I believe. Does anyone know where the records are? I have checked with the Funeral home and the Musuem. I now believe a descendant may have them. There is a lot of information contained in these records that would help not only me but other researchers. If anyone knows where these are or any of the other funeral home records are (Older ones) please let me know. I believe the Reverra records may enable me to place at least four markers in a cemetery if they state at least the cemetery name.

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/GkB.2ACI/837.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi Jerri, I have not traced Everett Sheffield. He was in the home of my greatgrandfather (Shadrack F. Stewart and his first wife--Sarah Sheffield) in DEKaLb, Tex in l860. I have in my notes that he might be the same as the Everett in Leon Co Tx. Since Shaddrack Stewart and 2nd wife-Lucy Ann Davis (my great grand parents) moved to Coryell Co Tx ca l893, it is possible that some of the same family of Sheffields moved that direction. There was a Wm M Sheffield in Wood Co in l870 and in l875 J.A Sheffield m Mary in Coryell and they were on the l900 Coryell Co census. in l877, Mrs J.A. Sheffield was a charter memeber of the Sweet Home Bap Church at Evant (Coryell Co Tex) I have a list of Everett and Almeda Sheffield's children (they are listed on the l850 Bowie Co Tx census) Hope this helps. Let me know. Lajuan
