Stewart, Shadrack, Jr. is my gg and George Samuel Stewart is gf.. I don't have a lot of information. I got most of my information from Lujuan. She has been just great and seems to know more than anybody. If you don't mind, give me your email and I can scan you some Stewart documents (deeds). I am, in the near future going to look for death information on Shadrack, Jr.. who apparently died in Hunt County, Tx shortly after 1900. Also, there are other people researching the Stewart family, and right now I believe that most are looking for the family before they came to Texas from North Carolina. I haven't heard from anybody so I don't guess they have had much luck. Write me if you would like copies of those deeds, and I sure would like more information on the fire there that destroyed the hotel and such. Thank you, Sheila G. Stewart

My husband is a gggrandson of Shadrack and Lucy. I've been about at my wits end trying to find them out. Our grandfather is Robert Lester married to Annie Huff. Robert's death certificate said father's name was Frank, his brother Leslie says John. You can imagine the hardship trying to locate. Robert had a son name Sedrick Frank, so I was kind of going on that. Would like any information and documents on Shadrack and will share from this side . Thanks for the response. Bette

The artical I read says that Twilley W. Hatch, Timothy W. Hatch and Henry W.Hatch were brothers. Now Henry W. died in 1870. I know that Susan Willie Cravens had a nephew name James F. Henry married before Susan and had a child name Carrie by that first marriage I pulled up Twilley on census and also found Barnard L. I see that Barnard Jr. might be still living. Susan was my gggrandmother. Henry and Susan`s only child Pattie L. married Albert Pichett Dumas anddied a day or so after having my grandmother Pattie Hatch Dumas who m.James Michael Nettles. I have the family bible and my aunt had made a list of names. Ellen McGuire at ellen61@knology.net
