Surnames: Hardin, Livingston, Saunders Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/GkB.2ACI/1012 Message Board Post: Does anyone know what happened to the Paul Reverra Funeral Home records? This was the company that handled the death of Annie E. Hardin in November of 1926 according to her obituary. Annie's second husband was William C. Hardin, a mayor of Texarkana near the turn of the century. Annie was brought to Monroe, LA for burial. I do not know where William is buried. I have been researching Annie for a while now, as she is a most colorful (and mysterious) character of my community of Monroe, LA. Thanks for any help and information you can give!

I found Samuel & Millie Ramsey Kennington in Precinct 3, 5 & 8, Clay Co, TX page 490D in 1880 with their daughter Lula M aged 9 mos. (at the LDS 1880 census site). They're living next door to her sister, Martha Jane Ramsey Hicks, and her husband, William F Hicks, with daughter R aged 3 and son John 8 mos. Hoping to find Elizabeth Ramsey on the 1880 census. Thanks so very much for your help. Now I'm definitely getting confirmation of the information my daughter provided. After all, without confirmation, it's just another pretty story!

Interestingly there is a Burton man (and family) just prior to the 1920 census you cite for Archie and Maud Easley. I have not identified him. I had used the Bowie USGenWeb page but did not check thoroughly enough now I see. I could not see a search engine for the whole county page so you must have stepped through all the categories?? I do thank you. Just an aside, but I am very steeped in Bowie Co. My GGGrandparents were there before 1840, John Nunn Stewart and Isabella Jane Hoskins (probably sister to Alfred Gatewood Hoskins of Bowie Co.) You will note I have submitted the Stewart Bible record to the Bowie page. Thank you very much. Shirley BOGART Harper
