Autrey, 87, of Wake Village, Texas, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, in De Queen, Ark. Mrs. Autrey was born June 11, 1917, in Texarkana, Ark. She was retired from Texarkana ISD, a Baptist and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey J. Autrey. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Victorie Autrey of De Queen; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathie Rutherford and Steve White of Mount Pleasant, Texas; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. When I was in Texarkana, I had no luck finding a death certificate for Annie. Is this a death certificate? Where might I get a copy of this? I knew just about all of the circumstances of her death, but that place of birth confirms a suspicion I have held about where she was born. That Mrs. L.B. King also interests me. I'm wondering where she fits in. I know Annie's parents names from the census. Very exciting stuff! Thanks so much!
