    2. A couple of years ago somebody sent me some information about preserving newspaper clippings. There is a liquid solution you can use. Try your search engine "preserving old papers....or old newspapers." I have lost the information and never used it. Also, when and if you copy the material on a machine, you should use acid-free paper. :-)

    3. The recipe I have: Deacidfication Spray or Dip...... Mix 2 Tbsp Milk of Magnesia with 1 quart Club Soda.... Refrigerate overnite before using..... Dip or spray item, then let sit for about 1 hour..... Carefully place item on soft towel to dry....... There is also a commercial spray called Archival Mist....have not tried it, tho....it is pricey, but I am sure it works great...... Good luck!
