If we are talking about the same Rootsweb search sites (TX birth, marriage), they have been offline for quite awhile... I noticed that Ancestry is selling the death records. Where did you see this? Curious. Well, in case your interested, I'm in the process of publishing these records. It'll be out in about a month. It'll consist of Birth/Marriages/Divorces/Deaths all in one database and in alphabetical order. It'll consist of 11 CD's. Searches are easily. As some examples: Enter adams h* and * c* : gives anyone who's last name is Adams and first name starts with H and middle name start with C Adams *Hugh* : gives anyone who's last name is Adams and any part of given name is Hugh Adams * (in first field) and Walker * (in second field) gives any Adams to Walker relationships. As parents/marriage/divorce #Adams Hugh : gives anyone who's last name soundex is #352 and first name Hugh. Lists all events Many other variations /counties/dates/ Suzy, if you or anyone would like I would be pleased to do a search and demonstrate the output. Thanx, Peggy! I have used the TX Archives search and, yes, it is very useful for vitals in many counties.... I think most of the ones I found for Bosque Co, were from the 1930's...... I just tried out the VitalSearch-CA.com search....I managed to get a bit of info.....I think it is just a teaser, don't you?? I will play with it some more..... Yes, you are correct, re the Rootsweb TX Death search page....I forgot to mention that.....I sure miss the Birth Records page, don't you?! We really appreciate your help, Peggy.....
