The William Ellington I am researching is from the same area of Bosque County as your Stephens. Near Clifton. I do not know if William's sister Sarah Sallie Ellington who married Robert Stephens ever lived in Texas. If you have Cherokee blood in your Stephens line then there may be a connection to your lineage.
