It has been brought to my attention that I am not a very good "splainer". <g> My last posting may be explained better by directing you to our query page on the Bosque County web site: http://www.rootsweb.com/~txbosqu2/query.html This mail list (TXBOSQUE-L) is different than the RW Message Boards.. The messages that one posts at: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=board&r=rw&p=localities.northam.usa.states.texas.counties.bosque&o=1&maxrows=25&dir=next are what I'm talking about that can be gatewayed to our list. This message that I am typing here, will not show up there, but if you post to the URL above, those will come through to the list, along with message like what I'm typing. Does that make better sense? Another thing I can do is try the gateway messages for a bit (a month or so??), & see if you all like them. If not, then I can discontinue doing that. Bettie, I just got my messages......had not been online to check mail for a few days.....sorry to answer late........ Sometimes it is very helpful to receive latest forum postings via mailing lists, since it is time consuming to check many forums regularly......on the other hand, it can fill up a mailbox quickly if a forum is very active....in that case, subscribing to the "digest" form of mail list could help..... You always do a GREAT job in regard to everything on the web sites and mailing lists, so try what you need to and let's see how it goes......and, your first message was clear.....you are not a bad "splainer"......... It takes me a while sometime, but I ususally figure it out. <g> What I need to know from you all is this--do you all want the posts from the Rootsweb Message Boards posted here also? I know some of you just "hate" those boards & hate lists that allow those to be posted. What I am doing is taking a poll of those on the list, & want to see what the majority of you want.
