I was only 16 yrs old when my father was shot at the Country Music Ranch north of Walnut Springs. It's like pulling teeth dealing w/the Bosque Cty Sher. Ofc to get records. Denny Proffitt was sherriff/investigator at the time. Texas Rangers investigated as well, and I had no trouble getting their records...The sherriff's dept has put me off for over a year. Anyway, his name was Jack D. Stanfield & the shooter was Oscar Burton (Jake) Doggett and the owner of the ranch is Christine Boenig. If you can help, I would appreciate it.
