    1. [TXBOSQUE] Trying to Locate Cemeteries
    2. Do you have any information on the cemeteries listed below? The Waco-McLennan County Library's Cemetery Interest Group is trying to collect information on all cemeteries and burial sites in and immediately around McLennan County, Texas.  Most of these cemeteries on the list below should be in McLennan County.  However, some of them may be in one of our neighboring counties. To date we have a list of 320+ cemeteries and burial sites that have been identified.  However, we are unable to locate about 43 of them.  The ones on the list below could be "lost" or could have undergone a name change, could be "swallowed up" by another cemetery, could have been moved (re-interred), or perhaps the name was simply misspelled or is an alternate name.  We just don't know.  References to burials at these locations have been found in old funeral home records, newspaper obits, city directories, etc. ****************** Please understand that we have MANY cemeteries on our list (over 300).  The last time we posted this list of "unknowns" we were flooded with people upset that we didn't have the obvious and more well-known cemeteries on our list and...gee...what a terrible job we were doing!   I can assure you they are on the list!!!  The ones on the list below are only "unknowns"!  We just need a little extra help with these: Ballinger Farm Cemetery Bedwell Cemetery Billinger Cemetery Bradley Cemetery Brights Cemetery Brookshire Cemetery Burnham Cemetery Caladonia Cemetery Cassie Cemetery Cedar Grove Cemetery Chicken Ranch Cemetery City Grove Cemetery Colany Cemetery Coling Cemetery Connor Cemetery Corner Cemetery Darrounds Darwin Ranch Cemetery Drake Cemetery Earle Cemetery Elk Prairie Hill Cemetery Erath Cemetery G. A. Cemetery Gates Cemetery Gill Farm Cemetery Grove Hill Cemetery Gurley Cemetery Halford Cemetery Herwoods Garden Cemetery Hewitt Cemetery Hickory Flat Cemetery Jerman Town Cemetery (sic) Johnson Cemetery Little Bethlehem Cemetery Miles Station, TX Monchock Cemetery Morgan School Cemetery Oak Valley Cemetery Perry Grove Cemetery Pevy Cemetery Price Store Cemetery Reese Farm Cemetery Resco Farm Cemetery San Hand Cemetery Shoe Fly Cemetery Please let me know if you have any clues or suggestions.  For example, we know there was an Oak Valley School in northern McLennan County and that could be a clue. Thanks! Carol Anne Wilson

    3. I have relatives who I know were in Bosque County in 1900. They do not appear on the index on the Bosque County Collection web site. I have tried looking at the actual census with no luck. At least one of these families, Asbury Evans Weeks, lived about 1 mi. west of Iredell. How likely is it that they were counted in Hamilton County? The other family was that of Asbury's daughter, Zuellah, and her husband, Emmett Boyd Foster. Margaret McCleskey
