Ron and Sue, You all have been great with the info.  My husband took me to the one on Palmetto, but wouldn't you know that with all of those cemeteries there, St. Mary was the only one with all of the gates locked.  That's my kind of luck. LOL  I don't know if it makes a difference, but both death certificates list it as St. Mary Cemetery, with no "s" on the end of Mary. And Ron, thank you for the advice.  That is an area of town I won't go to by myself in broad daylight.  My sis-in-law was warning me also, but I would never try it on my own anyways. Thanks for all the help.  And when you said that it was bordered by the German Cemetery, were you talking St. John's Lutheran Cemetery?  That was the one that I found it connected too. I'll write down the names of those tombstones you are looking for, just in case I get in there and happen to run into them. Hope you all have a great night!
