James Walter Long in the 1910 census. I didn't have any luck replicating your find with Long exact or soundex or Emma or James, no surname, with or - their birth year. Will go back and try again. I did locate them in Medina Co. 1900, Frio Co. 1920 and Gonzales Co. 1930. I can't bring up my find of them in the 1930 again either (listed as J.Walter Long). Ancestry puzzles me at times! The lead that Maggie b. ca 1871 was in Austin Co. in 1910 makes her about 30 so plenty old enough to marry so I will have to see if I can find marriage records after 1910 there.
