There was a Catholic Cemetery in San Antonio then. It was the Campo Santo and it was across from what is now Santa Rosa Hospital. The old Cemetery is now Milam Park. There are various lists around with the names of those buried there. It is by year, I don't think there is an index. Also keep in mind that for San Fernando #1, a lot stones are either missing or unreadable. So it is still possible that your ancestor is there, but the gravesite may be missing the stone. I am told that the records were destroyed in a flood in the 1920s.
