On 30 Nov 1899 US Customs Deputy Collector (also called Officer) was transporting a prisoner and contraband goods to the jail in Presidio when he was ambushed and killed. His body was shipped to San Antonio for burial. I am searching for any background info, place of burial, and surviving family members.
