Not sure if this will help or not but hope it does. Based on the death certificate Gilbert Nicolas Medina was born in Texas on Mar 20, 1897. He was the sone of Nicolas Medina and a Carlota (last name unknown). He is buried in Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery along with his wife Carmen.
