His DC indicated his body was shipped back to San Antonio for burial. He is buried in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, Plot: I-425 Son Robert William Meacham, born Aug 10, 1917, died Sep 23, 1981 in Travis Co. TX. He is buried in Austin Memorial Park Cemetery, Travis Co. TX. Note: picture of his headstone can be found on Find_A-Grave. Daughter Alther Lucillie Meacham was first married to someone named "Wagner" and then to a "Amos Hacker". She was born Oct 30, 1927 and died Jan 13, 1963 Bexar Co. TX. She had 3 children based on her obituary which is attached to this posting. She is buried in Mission Burial Park Cemetery here in San Antonio. Gladys Mills Meacham McClaugherty, born Apr 12, 1905, died Sep 1985 Luling, Caldwell Co. TX.
