He was in San Antonio for one week before he died & was in Texas 2 weeks total. He lived in Tulsa Oklahoma & was buried in Tulsa . His dad is listed as Andrew , mothers name unknown by person that gave info. His age is listed as 43 , birth date unknown . I went back to the census to have a look. in 1870 I did find them. 1870 Missouri; P.O. Birth Aug 1937 a son to Theodore Houston Ericksten & Ella Grace Ladner ; Texas From Texas death certificates .. George Orr Ericksten , b May 18, 1880 in Phillips MO died Jan 11, 1948 ; a widow ; dad Andrew Ericksten , from Sweden mom was Jane Repitoca born Tenn . He had been a shoe salesman . His wife was Leona Harvey Ericksten . I think your grand dad Fredrick & grand mother Bertha went to visit her family ( she was born in Texas as was her mom ) & he took ill & died there . They took him back to Tulsa OK where they were living , to bury him. You can see from the census that they did go back to Texas for a while then back to Oklahoma. I think his wife Bertha gave the info when he died. So this just about accounts for all the male children from Andrew & Emaline Ericksten .. note how his name was spelled in the 1 st census. One more quick note , George Ericksten has his mom listed as Jane, on his death certificate, look back at Emaline "J" his mom. Many people today & then are known by their middle name .
