Howard III wrote in your August 2002 Ancestry web posting, was my Great Great Grandfather. His daughter Isabel (Belle) Howard married Willis Green Edwards at St. Marks Episcopal Church, San Antonio. Their names are on a plaque in the narthex of St. Marks acknowledging their gift of pews (as I recall). Many of Willis Green and Belle Howard Edwards' descendants reside in Kerr County and San Antonio Texas where we have fond memories of Summers spent with our grandmothers' cottages during the 1930's, 40's, and 50's at a family enclave, Pleasure Hill, on the Guadalupe River between Ingram and Hunt. Willis' brother Frank Mudge Edwards purchased the Pleasure Hill property in July 1911. We Edwards descendants are planning a centennial celebration three years from now.
