    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Scott Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/DkB.2ACI/944 Message Board Post: I'm trying to locate the burial place of of Alfred Lewis Scott. Krick's _Staff Officers in Gray_ give his death place as Bexar County, Texas, June 28, 1915. At the outbreak of the Civil War, Alfred was a planter in Alabama. Declining a commission, he enlisted as a private in Company G of the 9th Alabama infantry. Later he joined the staff of General Edward A. Perry of the Florida Brigade (Perry was married to Alfred's wife's sister). Any assistance in this matter would be apprecated. I've checked Alamo Masonic, CC#1 and CC#2. If anyone has the list of the San Antonio Confederate Cemetery and could check that it would be most helpful.
