Marriage Index, Texas Death Index, Obituaries. All of these could prove of help with your search. 1930 Census for Bexar Co. shows son Joe & his wife Agnes has the parents also living with them. That would place Joseph Sr. and wife Hulda Lux time of death somethine after the 1930 census. In the 1910 Census (also Bexar Co.) shows Joe Lux, wife Hulda, sons; Joesph & Albert along with daughters Gertrude, Elsie and one other that looks like Annie. Census also indicates all children born in TX and that she had 6 children in all of which 5 were still alive in 1910. One census indicates Joe came to US in 1871 along with Hulda. But another shows Joe came in 1882 & Hulda in 1881. If this one is correct then they might have married here in TX and maybe in Bexar Co.
