Found obit for John on April 23, 1975 in the San Antonio Light newspaper. John E. Kelly, age 55, of 415 West Hutchins Place, passed away Sunday, April 20, 1975 in a local hospital. He was a native of Mendenhall, Mississippi, former resident of Houston and San Antonio resident for 15 years. He was a Veteran of Foreign Wars Post No. 4815. Survivors; Widow, Mrs. Phoebe C. Kelly, daughters, Misses Ellen Marie and Carrie Ann Kelly both of San Antonio, sister Miss Elizabeth Kelly of San Antonio. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday in Mission Park Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lee Patton officiating. Interment to follow in Mission Burial Park.
