There were quite a few members of the family born in various parts of that Registration district. I'll know better which part when his birth certificate arrives. > > I could not find him in the 1920 census. It may be misindexed. Hmmm. I've just had a look at the image again and realised that Albert's name is spelt COLLINRIDGE, which is one of the more common variations. I hadn't spotted that before. He's shown as being 40 in that census. It looks as though his son in law Joe (?)GONZALES, daughter Louise and 3 grandsons, Albert, Joe and Sam are living with them. They're in Precinct 33, They seem to be the same address as they were in 1930. His occupation looks like "Watchman, Govt Warehouse". Does that sound right?? > > Note the 1930 census shows him being married at age 32; it shows is age then > as 53 which would mean he was married to Mary about 1909. Alfred J > Mcnernens and Nadine Mcnernens were living with them. Their address was 210 > Sharer St which is just south of Ft. Sam Houston. His occupation was > "watchman, public service". > > I also came up blank in the passenger lists. I'm glad it's not just me not being able to see for looking :)) Many thanks for your trouble.
