Louis Lutzenberger was my g-g-grandfather. I understand this is a large family with roots in Seguin and San Antonio that go back to the mid-1800's or earlier. Thank you for any help anyone can offer! Author: MsLKJackson Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.texas.counties.bexar/248.1.1.1.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hi Rebecca, Actually, Wesley V. Jackson Sr. (aka. Whitie) was my grandfather. Wesley V. Jackson Jr. is my father, and is still alive at 73. He knows the stories much better than I do. However, I know that the the junk yard, Jackson Auto Parts, was on Mission Road. The Wesley V that lived on Lavonia and worked at the Alamo White Truck Service was my father not Whitie. I don't know anything about a Wesley L., but there was another Wesley V who was known as baby Wesley his middle name was Vernon. I don't know about any wives named Ann, but my grandmother was Alice (the first of a few different wives). Anyway, I know this is a very late response to the question, but I hope it can still be useful. Also, I would love to get in touch with other family! :) -Lynette Jackson Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: kfuhrmeister75 Surnames: Dietsch Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.texas.counties.bexar/1119.1.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hello, Getting information from this institution will, unfortunately, be next to impossible. I requested in writing the records of my husband's cousin, Ms Aggapha F Dietsch, who lived at the hospital for 22 years 10 months and 25 days. (Her first name is spelled this way on the Death certificate I think it might have been Agatha) According to my calculations she entered the hospital on Dec 12 1925. She died there on October 15 1948. I sent everything I had to prove who I was. I have census records, land records from Bexar County her death certificate and I created a decadency chart to show how we are related. But because of the recent changes in the Privacy laws you must prove that you are either the executor or the Administrator of the person's estate. I find this to be interesting. My cousin had no siblings. Her mother died when she was a baby. Her father died in 1941 and his only child was not even mentioned in his Obituary! I know where she was buried her father is buried in the same cemetery. I don't think Ms Aggapha had an estate. Wouldn't the state seize any "Estate" because she was in the state hospital? The informant on her death certificate is the San Antonio State Hospital. I am really frustrated with this. I would really like to know about her. Don't you love all the mistakes you find on death certificates! I even know one that was filled out by the deceased in a prepaid funeral arrangement that had errors. You are correct. Benjamin Floyd Johnson's mother was Mary Annetta "Nettie" Allen, not Dora. Dora was BFJ's only sister. Since BFJ's son filled in the information, it is no wonder his memory was not correct as his grandmother died way before he was born and Dora died when he was 5. Another researcher did come up with the correct Benjamin Floyd Johnson in the "San Antonio Light", nevertheless I do so appreciate the time and effort you put in searching and noting the discrepancy. With sincere appreciation, P.J. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
