    3. Bill, other than cemetery lists around the county, I don't think anyone has yet gone to the county records office and transcribed deaths. Go to http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ussearch.htm Enter the surname and choose TX. Then go through all the cemetery listings for the counties. Remember to check in Coryell and Williamson and Lampasas as they all used to be Milam County. As far as the birth certificate for the person born in 1943...I don't know if they would give anyone but a family member a copy. I was born in 1943 and (on most mornings I wake up still alive) if I ask for a copy of my birth certificate, I have to show my DL, SS card and if a relative asks for a copy for me they have to show that information plus sign an affidavit stating that they are a relative and are getting the copy at my request. The best thing would be to give that person the address for Bell County Annex and let them request in writing a copy of the birth certificate........IMHO....
