Stephanie Turnham is the Director. ================================================ Update on the SOBC/BCHC situation. It has been requested by the Museum Director that the biographies extracted from the Story of Bell County (SOBC) also be removed from web pages. If that is confirmed by the BCHC at the meeting on 23 August, I'll do that. The cemetery listings mentioned in previous posts will NOT be affected, as they are from publications put out by the West Bell Genealogical Society (WBGS). If you'd like your own copy of the SOBC, contact the Museum Director (Stephanie Turnham) at museum@vvm.com for more information, or try an Inter-Library Loan through your local library. The SOBC two-volume set price from the Museum is between $80 and $90 dollars. The source material (including the photographs in the book) from which the set was compiled is located at the Lena Armstrong Public Library in Belton. The set was published in 1988, so some of the information is out-of-date, but still usable. What are your thoughts?
