    1. Re: [TXBELL-L] Material Removal
    2. I bought a copy of The Story of Bell County last year and found it to be a treasure in finding my family history. Not only did it have pages of family members and detailed stories about them, but it also had a picture of my g-g-g-grandmother and my g-g-grandfather, and many of their siblings. It also told the story of how they arrived in Bell county after a three month long ox drawn wagon ride from Mississippi. I also have worked with the BCHC and one of the books authors, who I found both to be kind, generous and helpful in pointing me to other resources relating to the family . They also offered to take me to the cemetery that my family was buried in, when I had the time to fly to texas. Good old Texas hospitality never seems to end. Again, as far as the book, but it was the best money I ever spent, and gave me the biggest results of my family search in nine years. If the BCHC is not opposed I would be glad to do some limited lookups for those on the list. It is an amazing compilation of history and Bell county families. Thanks for all Bill's efforts, I wish one of my other rootsweb list owners could be as helpfull, friendly and hospitable as Bill has been to all on this list. John
