    3. That's most unfortunate. I could understand if they started out with that position, but not after so much work had been done. I have found the information to very helpful. I wonder if they would be willing to accept a fee/donation for allowing an online version. Are they non-profit? Perhaps our list subscribers could raise funds if that is the case. Joe D. Interesting... apparently when I asked the Bell County Historical Commission (BCHC) for permission to put BCHC publications on the BCHC page (which was granted), and would begin with the Story of Bell County (SOBC), it was not understood that I meant eventually all of it. I gather there is some stress about the book being made available free to the internet, instead of just via sales. I have agreed to remove the SOBC entirely from the BCHC page for now, pending further discussion, and will be waiting for follow-on about the family histories that have been put onto the Biographies Board. Perhaps another case of what was said and what was heard was not sufficiently clear. This advisory is being provided for those of you who have been able to use the SOBC content posted to-date.
