Hi list, I'm about a third cousin of Cristy Dillard - who just wrote in. And of course we met through Genweb. We share the William BURNS and Mary Ann VANNOY as ancestors -- William BURNS and wife Mary Ann VANNOY arrived in Old Howard, Bell Co. in early 1860s--coming from Bedford Co. TN to Benton Co. AR, to TX. Their son - Robert Emmett married Mollie O'KEEFFE in Bell Co. in Nov. 1885 and had a dance that night at his parents house. They danced til 3:00 and as he put it "was we ever happy". Mollie was the granddaughter of Hugh O'KEEFFE and wife Mary Ann (Pollyanna) MORGAN, who arrived in Bell Co in 1853. --( from KY to IL to TX.) Mollie's parents were Arthur O'KEEFFE and Sallie KUYKENDALL in Bell Co. 1866 Sallie was the daughter of Simon KUYKENDALL and wife Martha BOX, both b. TN, lived Miss, AR, Miss, then TX by 1854.
