Hello Bell County Listers. This plea came to me; but I can't seem to help. Perhaps some of you can. We are hoping that some of the generations are still in Bell County. If I could find some of their grandchildren by their *son's; *Eli.b:1837-38-TX. and his son Jefferson b:1866-TX.; *Wm.b:1841-42-TX. and his son Eli b:1870-Tx. Don't know what happened to *Wm. I think I may have found his son Eli Lawler on the 1880 census in Henderson Co. listed as a stepson with his mother Francis and McDarreath/tt ? was hard to make out this name. Something else I received in the mail from a Bob Lollar (a descendant of Jacob Lollarfrom the AL. group) a copy of Mrs Wade's book; an addendum to pg.180 &181; By:Wendy Bettincourt, from Modesto,CaL. writes: "Gram remembered someone talking abt a cousin named America" ("Gram" is Ruby Edith Lollar,Callaway)! Gram's *youngest brother was named for a relative. Gram was the daughter of Eli Lollar of TX.; this Eli married Leone Davis, they had 5 children: Opal who died young, Davis, Jim Bob , *Wm D., and Ruby Edith b:1902-d:1983 Oregon. My John Lawler b: 1816/17-TX. and Elizabeth, their children: Eli; Wm./Mary (twins), Charlotte, Elizabeth; and "America" ! This is another curve in my search; This is the only "America" name I've found with the Lollar/Lawler's!!! (could this be Wm.of 1841-42 his son Eli of 1870 ; Eli's daughter Ruby b:1902 ??; she would be a cousin to my America, if this checks out ! ) Is any one familiar with "Mrs Wade's" book; are any of the names mentioned above??
