I am looking for information on the James R. Ross family. He was born in Ala. His parents along with him and about eleven other children were on the 1850 and 1860 census of Cherokee County. Then on the 1870 census James R. is in Bell County with wife and children. His wife was Francis Ward. There son William married an Annie and Rebecca there daughter married Ben Poe. There were a couple of other children but have no information on them. James R. is still in Bell County in 1900 but I have no other information. I can't find James R.'s parents in 1870 but he had three sisters and a brother who went to La. and would love to find some members of this family. I have no idea what happened as his brother and sisters who went to La. where minors but no information on how that got there. Thanks for any help. Pat
