Here's the name for the Simmons and Hennington Cemeteries>>>Doyle DOSKASCIL. The access is off of 2268 which is noted on map with number and with "Spur"...runs E - W from Milam Co. to SH 95 just S of Holland. Have also found someone that has done a lot of farm work for people in Bell County and can tell us about the location of some cemeteries that are not on the Bell County Map. If you want a working map of Bell Co., let me know and I will get the address for you. I think they cost about $4 or $5 dollars for the smaller and $8 for the larger one...I like the larger one but I am diabetic and have trouble reading small print sometimes...the larger one can be used inside a "normal"-sized car or van with up to four persons aboard...if your husband does not mind you tickling his ear with the corner of the map...if you have a van or suburban and put the seats down...you can put the map out on the floor and assign a navigator. I am going to ask how we go about getting the unmarked ones on the map. St. John Luthern Cemetery N of Bartlett is preparing more land for enlarging the cemetery. Some of the older graves, Bill were people moved from the Methodist Cemetery you found East of Bartlett that was being cleared off. It goes farther back in that stand of trees than we first thought. Some were moved to St. John's Luthern and some to the BARTLETT CITY CEMETERY south of town. They may have been put into the Old Cemetery. -----Original Message----- From: Phillip Maynard <maynard@hti.net> To: TXBELL-L@rootsweb.com <TXBELL-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Wednesday, June 30, 1999 9:59 AM Subject: Re: [TXBELL-L] LATHAM; VOLO CEMETERY; BELL CO., TX; East /W side of county /Other locations CHATTER FORMATT |Mary Ann - | |Tabasco sauce is great for chigger bites! |Ann from Texas | |---------- |> From: MaryAnn Bartlett <bartlett@vvm.com> |> To: TXBELL-L@rootsweb.com |> Subject: [TXBELL-L] LATHAM; VOLO CEMETERY; BELL CO., TX; East /W side of |county /Other locations CHATTER FORMATT |> Date: Wednesday, June 30, 1999 9:54 AM |> |> Yall, I just spent two days with a BARTLETT cousin riding from one side |of |> the county to the other!
