Hello, For those new to the list... I'm researching the families of Thomas Dick Herring and wife Mary Albertine Lee. Thomas and Mary were born in TN, as was their oldest son, Virgil. They also had two daughters, Anna Belle and Maude. Virgil Lee Herring md. Mary Garner (my grandparents). Mary was the daughter of James Knox Polk Garner and Nancy Scott Whiteley. James was the son of William L. and Sarah Curry Garner. Nancy was the daughter of James Clark Whiteley and Malinda Burks. Anna Belle Herring md. Robert L. Thompson Maude Herring md. Don Marable.
