If all else fails, go to the Land records office. Tell the Clerk where it is located and pull up the platts on it. From there you should be able to find owners name, either the current or last one. Start with that. It sometimes leads to someone who has old records stashed away in a trunk or box, even though they have since donated the land to the City, County or State. Hope this helps.
