Howdy All.. I visited the Bell County Museum today and was able to purchase copies of both the 2-volume set *Story Of Bell County*, and the Tyler book, *History of Bell County*. They're both hardback items, so they're not cheap! The *History* is written from a 1936 general date, and the *Story of Bell County* contains biographies of Bell County citizens. If you'd like lookups from these two resources, volunteers are listed on the Lookups page at the Bell County Genealogy & History site: http://www.rootsweb.com/~txbell If I ever get oriented adequately on the contents, I'll try to help with information as well. I think I've seen some responses on the Query Board for Bell County citing one or the other of these references. A reminder, again, to post your queries to BOTH the Query Board at the Bell County site, as well as here. They are indexed separately, and using both places improves your chances of a response.
