This is my first time to post to this list. I have a long wish list, but will try not to ramble. Almost all of my family, as well as my first wife's family lived in Bell Co. since right after the Civil War. My Grandmother was Ethel Durham, grandaughter of William Green Durham who came to Belton from McMinnville, Tennessee in the late 1860's, along with several brothers and sisters, and several of his wife's family. Her name was Louisa York. Included in that side of the family are Sullivans and Reynolds. My wife's name was Mary Ann McCelvey. Her great uncle founded King's Daughter's Hospital, and her grandfather, Hugh McCelvey, was a fairly well known businessman in Temple. Her family names include: Staton, Lykes, Meadows, Presnell, Dauwalter, Spencer, and Suggs, all of which lived most of their lives in Bell County. If you see a familiar name, please contact me. I have a lot of information on all of these families, but am lacking information on currently living relatives. Sheron Sheppard
